1. What's it like to work at Capehart Scatchard?

   Our firm has a collegial atmosphere. Our attorneys enjoy working together and interact often with one another on a professional and social basis.

2. What is the billable hour requirement?

   Our firm's minimum billable requirement is 1900 hours per year.

3. What does the benefit package include?

   Our new associates are given the following benefits: full health insurance for the employed attorney and his or her family, life insurance, long-term disability coverage, 401(k) plan with firm contribution, and vacation benefits.

4. Describe the Summer Associate Program.

   Our program is rather informal. The Firm typically hires 2 associates who are supervised by the Hiring Shareholder. Our associates are not assigned to a particular department. Rather, they have the opportunity to work with a number of attorneys and perform assignments in varied areas and topics.

5. Do you hire your summer associates for 1st year associate positions?

   Yes. We hire summer associates to provide candidates for first-year associate positions.

6. When do you make your hiring decisions for summer associates?

   In the Fall through Winter and, sometimes, into the Spring.

7. Will you be interviewing on campus at my law school?

   Capehart Scatchard interviews only at Rutgers University Law School, Camden and Temple University Law School.

8. What is the training program like for entry level associates?

   Each practice area has its own methods of training its associates.

9. What type of feedback is given to the summer associates?

   Our summer associates are evaluated at the end of the summer.

10. Can summer associates discuss their assignments with their assigning attorneys?

    Our attorneys have an open-door policy. We welcome and encourage discussion with our summer associates concerning their assignments.
