Bruce L. Harrison Rejoins Capehart Scatchard

Mt. Laurel, NJ - - Capehart Scatchard is pleased to announce that former managing shareholder, Bruce L. Harrison has rejoined the firm as a member of the Labor and Employment Department in its Mount Laurel office.

Starting in 1975, Mr. Harrison concentrated his practice with Capehart Scatchard in the areas of labor, employment and civil rights counseling and litigation, OSHA and environmental matters. During this time, most of his practice was litigation-oriented, defending private businesses in claims relating to his areas of primary focus.

From May 1, 2006 until July 2, 2008, Mr. Harrison served as the Vice President and General Counsel for Metrologic Instruments, Inc., a world leader in designing and manufacturing bar code reading technology. After Metrologic was acquired by Honeywell International, Mr. Harrison returned to the firm.

Mr. Harrison has frequently spoken to trade and business associations on topics including sexual and other harassment, OSHA, FMLA and similar issues.

He is a member of the American and New Jersey Bar Associations including the Labor & Employment sections.

Mr. Harrison received his law degree from Vanderbilt University School of Law, his LL.M. degree in Labor Law from the George Washington University School of Law, and his B.A. degree from Westminster College. He is admitted to practice law in New Jersey.
