Associate Speaks to Lorman Education Services Attendees
Mt. Laurel, NJ - - Capehart Scatchard associate, Laurel B. Peltzman, Esq., spoke at a recent Lorman Education Services employment law seminar in Edison, New Jersey.
In her presentation, Ms. Peltzman discussed the recently enacted legislation in New Jersey allowing the use of medical marijuana. Ms. Peltzman focused her talk on the impact of the law on employers.
Ms. Peltzman, a Cherry Hill resident, f ocuses her practice in the representation of public and private sector employers in the areas of labor and employment, school law, and civil rights law matters.
Ms. Peltzman received her law degree from Rutgers University School of Law in Camden, Magna Cum Laude. Ms. Peltzman was also an editor of the Rutgers Journal of Law and Public Policy and Recipient of the American Bar Association and Bureau of National Affairs Award for Labor and Employment Law. Ms. Peltzman obtained her B.A. degree from Rutgers State University in New Brunswick, where she received the Distinguished Scholar's Award and the Dean's Award for Excellence, as well as membership in the National Society of Collegiate Scholars.
Ms. Peltzman is admitted to practice law in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. She is a member of the New Jersey, Camden County and Burlington County Bar Associations. Additionally, she is a member of the Sidney Reitman Labor & Employment Inn of Court.
