Mt. Laurel, NJ - - Thomas D. Begley, III, Esq., gave a presentation at the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA) Advanced Elder Law Boot Camp on November 9, 2011. The conference took place at the Seaport Boston Hotel in Boston, Massachusetts.
NAELA is a professional association of over 4,200 attorneys who are dedicated to improving the quality of legal services provided to seniors and people with special needs. NAELA members assist their clients with public benefits, probate and estate planning, guardianship/conservatorship, and health and long-term care planning, among other important issues.
Mr. Begley conducted a presentation entitled "Litigation and Administrative Advocacy." He spoke on the fundamentals of wills contests, guardianships and claims regarding fiduciary abuse and neglect. Additionally, he discussed fair hearings, Medicare and veteran's appeals and claims regarding nursing home torts.
A resident of Moorestown, Mr. Begley concentrates his practice in wills, trusts, estates, probate litigation, and elder law, along with business representation. Mr. Begley is a Certified Elder Law Attorney. He received his law and undergraduate degrees from Georgetown University.
Mr. Begley is a former Director of the Elder Law Section of the New Jersey State Bar Association as well as the former chair of the Estate Planning and Probate Committee of the Burlington County Bar Association. He regularly speaks at the NJICLE Institute and the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys.
