"Giving back" to our community frequently entails financial support as well as volunteering time to local organizations. Whenever possible, the Firm endeavors to match its financial support with volunteer involvement by encouraging its attorneys and staff to be active in civic, community and charitable affairs. From participating in nonprofit organizations, serving on a myriad of civic boards, coaching Little League, or providing board leadership at institutions of higher learning, our attorneys strive to give of their time and energy as responsible corporate citizens.
In the legal arena, a number of Capehart Scatchard lawyers support the legal community by participating in continuing legal education programs as lecturers, by serving in leadership roles in state and local bar associations, presenting seminars to various legal and trade organizations on a wide variety of topics, as well as taking leadership roles in numerous legal efforts.
