Linda M. Payne


Ms. Payne focuses her practice and has broad experience in all aspects of family law, including divorce, post judgment litigation, custody and visitation, child support, alimony, DCPP, and domestic violence.  She is also trained in family mediation.

Ms. Payne obtained her B.A. in History from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey. She received her J.D. from Rutgers Law in Camden, New Jersey. While in law school, she volunteered for the Rutgers Law Domestic Violence Project at Camden County Courthouse where she served as Student Director. She also interned for the Rutgers Law Civil Practice Clinic. Ms. Payne received the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers – New Jersey Chapter Award for her excellence in the area of family law. After law school, she clerked for the Honorable Harold U. Johnson, Jr., presiding family law judge for Gloucester, Salem and Cumberland Counties.

Ms. Payne also practices in the area of workers’ compensation, representing employers, self-insured companies, and insurance carriers in defense matters.
