Stephen T. Fannon

Executive Committee Member

Stephen T. Fannon, who successfully defended respondents in two significant trials, Gerald L. Hallquist v. E.I. Dupont De Nemours, a complex alleged chemical exposure/cancer-death case, and DennisMcQuaid v. Camden Board of Social Services, a premises liability case involving allegations of substantial permanent disability, is a partner and Co-Chair of the firm’s Workers’ Compensation Department.

Hailing from Wilkes-Barre, PA, Mr. Fannon has been with Capehart Scatchard for over 40 years, and is the longest-tenured continually-employed full-time attorney in the firm. He joined the firm in 1979, when he was hired as a summer law clerk out of the University of Pennsylvania, and has been with the firm ever since.

Mr. Fannon focuses his practice on the representation of employers, self-insureds, and insurance carriers in workers’ compensation defense matters.
