Rutgers Students Receive Scholarly Award From Capehart Scatchard Law Firm

Mt. Laurel, NJ – Mark A. Gulbranson, Mark R. Natale, and Logan Elliott Pettigrew were the recipients of the 14th Annual Blaine E. Capehart Legal Writing Award, presented at the law firm of Capehart Scatchard on May 20th. The three award recipients graduated from Rutgers School of Law in Camden on May 23, 2013.

The Mt. Laurel-based firm presented each of the award recipients with $1000 in recognition of their exemplary legal writing and research abilities. The Firm offers this award to graduating Rutgers – Camden law students on an annual basis in honor of the late Blaine E. Capehart.

According to Thomas D. Begley, III, Capehart Scatchard’s Trusts & Estates Department Chair, “This year’s recipients were exceptional. Not only did they demonstrate the best in sound legal writing, but they have undertaken a domestic violence project which may very well enhance the quality of life for those who are subjected to such abuse.”
