Alyson L. Knipe

Ms. Knipe has over 15 years of experience litigating and managing a diverse range of civil claims including the areas of transportation, premises, property damage, general liability, construction defect and construction litigation centering on New York State Labor Law.

A significant portion of Ms. Knipe’s practice involves the representation of clients throughout the federal, state and appellate courts of New York and New Jersey in the defense of bodily injury, personal injury and wrongful death claims arising from accidents. Her clients include insurance companies, retail chains, construction companies, landowners, tenants, contractors and commercial vehicles. She has extensive experience in depositions, arbitrations, mediations, settlement conferences and trials.

Ms. Knipe’s primary client service goal is to provide a high quality consistent work product.  She frequently presents programs to claims professionals.  Prior to joining Capehart Scatchard, Ms. Knipe worked as a professional instructor at the American Educational Institute providing claims law training to insurance professionals seeking the Society of Claim Law Associates (SCLA) designation.
