Laura M. Danks


Ms. Danks focuses her practice in general litigation throughout the state and federal courts in New Jersey and Pennsylvania with a concentration in insurance defense matters. She has successfully represented insured defendants in all aspects of litigation in cases involving premises liability, construction accidents, railroad accidents and FELA claims, DRAM shop liability, and professional liability, including architects, engineers, and medical malpractice matters. Areas of practice include litigation defense in Tort Claims Act, civil rights, and employment actions, land use matters, and commercial litigation including representation of landlords.

Prior to joining Capehart Scatchard, Laura served as a Law Clerk to the Honorable Daniel P. Anderson, Wisconsin Court of Appeals, District II and a Law Clerk to the Honorable Michael Sullivan, Wisconsin Circuit Court, Milwaukee County.
