Capehart and Scatchard is pleased to announce that in celebration of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, the Diversity & Inclusion Committee at the firm, in conjunction with Burlington Country Bar Association, collected $1,805 in monetary donations as well as donations of Uber cards, food, clothing, and hygiene products to benefit Providence House and Legacy Treatment Services. In addition, eighteen volunteers from the firm participated in a day of service on January 16, 2021 at Providence House by sorting donations and doing yard work at the facility.
Providence House, which is located in Westampton, provides comprehensive services to victims of domestic abuse and their children. Legacy Treatment Services, which is located in Hainesport, provides a vast array of services, such as crisis intervention, developmental and intellectual disability services, out of home care for children and youth, outpatient additional treatment services, and opiate and alcoholism treatment.
