Legacy Treatment Services

Capehart Scatchard was proud to once again sponsor Monte Carlo Night 2026, the annual fundraising event benefiting Legacy Treatment Services. Held on March 28, 2026, at The Merion in Cinnaminson, New Jersey, the event raised more than $230,000, with a net return of approximately $170,00 in support of the charity.

Monte Carlo Night continues to be a premier fundraising event, bringing together community members, supporters, and partners for an evening of entertainment in support of the important work of Legacy Treatment Services. Proceeds from the event directly benefit programs that provide critical behavioral health, social service, and support resources to individuals and families throughout the region.

Sergio I. Scuteri, a Shareholder in the firm’s Commercial Litigation practice, remains a dedicated Board Member of The Legacy Foundation, continuing his more than decade-long commitment to advancing the organization’s mission.

The Legacy Foundation serves as the primary fundraising, development, marketing, donor, and community relations arm of Legacy Treatment Services. Attorneys and staff at Capehart Scatchard are proud to have made a meaningful impact this summer by supporting families and youth in need. Throughout the month of June, the firm collected food, toiletries, and gift card donations to benefit Legacy Treatment Services and the communities they serve.

The initiative was aimed at helping individuals facing food insecurity during the summer months—a time when many families lose access to school-based meal programs.

To support local children in getting ready for the new school year, attorneys and staff at Capehart Scatchard have been generously donating school supplies and monetary gifts over the past few weeks to benefit K-12 students in Legacy Treatment Services’ residential programs.

On August 20, 2024, a team of attorneys from the firm personally delivered the donated items to the drop-off location at Legacy’s facility in Hainesport, NJ. While at the facility, the team also engaged in sorting and organizing the supplies to ensure they are ready to be distributed to the students as they prepare for the upcoming school year.

Legacy Treatment Services is a nonprofit behavioral health organization headquartered in Marlton, NJ. The services provided by the organization touch the lives of 20,000 vulnerable children, adolescents and adults each year across 17 counties in New Jersey.
