Capehart Scatchard is pleased to announce that Kenneth Chiarella, a shareholder in the firm’s Workers’ Compensation Department, has been selected as a Fellow in the 2026–2027 Leadership Academy class of the National Filipino American Lawyers Association (NFALA).
NFALA’s Leadership Academy is designed to cultivate leadership skills among Filipino American attorneys by helping participants develop their individual leadership styles while promoting career advancement and community service.
Mr. Chiarella is one of only 10 attorneys selected nationwide for the 2026–2027 class. The Fellows convened on May 22 and 23 at the NFALA Midyear Summit, held at the offices of McDermott Will & Schulte in Chicago.
Mr. Chiarella concentrates his practice in the representation of employers, self-insured companies, and insurance carriers in workers’ compensation defense matters. He earned his J.D. from New York Law School and his B.A. in Political Science from Rutgers University. Upon law school graduation, Mr. Chiarella worked as a law clerk for the Honorable Craig L. Corson, J.S.C. He is admitted to practice law in New Jersey and New York.
