Capehart Scatchard is pleased to announce that Workers’ Compensation Department attorney, Martie Campbell Baggett, Esq., has been elevated to Shareholder.

Ms. Baggett focuses her practice in the representation of employers, self-insured companies, and insurance carriers in workers’ compensation defense matters.

Ms. Baggett earned her Juris Doctor from Widener University Delaware Law School where she was a member of the Moot Court Honor Society. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and International Relations, with a minor in Philosophy, from Immaculata University. Ms. Baggett is admitted to practice law in New Jersey.

Capehart Scatchard is pleased to announce that Amos Brunson Jr., Esq. has recently joined its Litigation Department as a shareholder in its New York office.

Mr. Brunson focuses his practice on all aspects of tort defense, premise liability, products liability, construction defect and bodily injury, New York State Labor Law, property damage, and motor vehicle litigation.

He earned his J.D. from Albany Law School of Union University and a B.A. degree in Communications from the University at Albany. Mr. Brunson is admitted to practice law in New York.

With over 20 years of litigation experience, Karen V. Vincent focuses her practice on the representation of employers, self-insured companies, and insurance carriers in workers’ compensation defense matters.

Ms. Vincent earned her J.D. from Widener University School of Law and a B.A. degree from Colorado State University. She is a member of the American Bar Association, New Jersey State Bar Association, Association of Trial Lawyers of America, Justice James H. Coleman, Jr. Inn of Court, and New Jersey Association for Justice. She is admitted to practice law in New Jersey and the United States Supreme Court.
