Capehart Scatchard Attorneys Participate In Rutgers Law School Minority Student Graduation Celebration

Capehart Scatchard’s Diversity & Inclusion Committee Chair, Hiring Shareholder, and School Law Department Shareholder, Sanmathi (Sanu) Dev, Esq., and Commercial Litigation Associate, Stacey R. Gorin, Esq., attended a brunch celebrating the Class of 2022 graduates of the Rutgers Law School Minority Student Program (MSP).  The celebration was held on May 15th at The Mansion on Main Street in Voorhees, NJ.  The keynote speaker at the event was the Honorable, Karen M. Williams, United States District Court Judge for the District of New Jersey.

Capehart Scatchard is a proud supporter of MSP.  Attorneys from the firm actively participate in events sponsored by the program.   MSP serves Rutgers Law School students of any race or ethnicity who are members of groups that are underrepresented in the legal profession and who have faced discrimination or overcome social and economic hardships.  The program takes a proactive approach to help students succeed in law school by offering legal skills development, academic support, alumni mentoring and networking, internships and other opportunities.
