Employees of Capehart Scatchard recently participated in the Fourth Annual Food Bank of South Jersey’s “Hunger Games” food competition. The fundraiser was held at the Food Bank headquarters in Pennsauken, NJ on April 28, 2016 and raised over $28,000.
The Food Bank Hunger Games is an entertaining, team building challenge with proceeds going to benefit the Food Bank’s hunger relief programs for children. Corporate teams get one box of mystery ingredients and 45 minutes to whip up a dish for three food savvy judges in a live cooking competition. Each participating team consists of four members, and a culinary advisor mentor, who work together to create a meal from a box of food items that the Food Bank typically distributes through its pantry network.
