To create this list of Top Ranked Law Firms, LexisNexis, Martindale-Hubbell tapped its database of Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings to identify firms with 21 or more attorneys where at least one out of three of their lawyers achieved the AV Preeminent Peer Review Rating. Out of 254,000 firms rated by Martindale-Hubbell, only 965 firms were selected nationally for inclusion in the list.
Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings are driven by the confidential opinions of lawyers and judges who provide reviews of lawyers about whom they have professional knowledge.
