Karen Vincent Competes In New York City Marathon To Raise Funds For Brain Cancer Research

Capehart Scatchard is pleased to announce that Karen V. Vincent, Shareholder in the Workers’ Compensation Department, ran in the New York City Marathon on November 3, 2024, to raise funds and awareness for brain cancer research. Ms. Vincent raised over $2,500 in support of StacheStrong, a non-profit devoted to funding critical research for advanced cutting-edge treatment and providing essential support to those battling brain cancer.

Ms. Vincent has built a reputation for excellence in workers’ compensation law, while also being a committed advocate for important causes. With over 20 years of litigation experience, she focuses her practice on the representation of employers, self-insured companies, and insurance carriers in workers’ compensation defense matters.

Ms. Vincent earned her J.D. from Widener University School of Law and a B.A degree from Colorado State University. She is a member of the American Bar Association, New Jersey State Bar Association, Association of Trial Lawyers of America, Justice James H. Coleman, Jr. Inn of Court, and New Jersey Association for Justice. She is admitted to practice law in New Jersey and the United States Supreme Court.
