On January 19, 2026, attorneys and staff volunteered at FBSJ’s headquarters in Pennsauken, New Jersey, assisting with the collection, inspection, sorting, and packaging of food for distribution to individuals and families in need.  Volunteers also donated food items collected from firm employees to further supplement the Food Bank’s supplies.

Firm attorneys, Ashley Attinello, Alexis Rose, David Siegel, and Jason Sikoryak, recently participated as Team “Limp Biscuit” in the Food Bank of South Jersey’s “Hunger Games” food competition.  The annual fundraising event was held at the Food Bank’s headquarters in Pennsauken, NJ on May 2, 2024.

The Hunger Games competition is a fun, team building challenge with proceeds going to benefit the Food Bank’s hunger relief programs for children. At this year’s event, six corporate teams received one box of mystery ingredients and had 45 minutes to whip up a dish for three food savvy judges in a live cooking competition.  Each participating team consisted of four members, and a culinary advisor mentor, who worked together to create a meal from a box of food items that the Food Bank typically distributes through its pantry network.

Capehart Scatchard’s team of volunteers worked in Burlington City, NJ out of the Hope Mobile, a mobile pantry, carrying a truckload of food to ‘food deserts’ – those areas that lack access to a viable network of food. This aptly named 18 wheel tractor trailer holds 45,000 lbs. of food.
