
Capehart Scatchard is pleased to announce that Kenneth Chiarella, a shareholder in the firm’s Workers’ Compensation Department, spoke at a seminar hosted by Concentra Advanced Specialists on May 19, 2026, at The Brownstone in Paterson, New Jersey.
During his presentation, Mr. Chiarella provided a legal update on recent New Jersey case law and proposed legislation relating to workers’ compensation law. Topics discussed included intoxicated employees, respondent lien rights, reimbursement timing issues involving medical claim providers, and coverage of medical marijuana under workers’ compensation.
Mr. Chiarella concentrates his practice in the representation of employers, self-insured companies, and insurance carriers in workers’ compensation defense matters. He earned his J.D. from New York Law School and his B.A. in Political Science from Rutgers University. Upon law school graduation, Mr. Chiarella worked as a law clerk for the Honorable Craig L. Corson, J.S.C. He is admitted to practice law in New Jersey and New York.
