Capehart Scatchard welcomed students participating in Rutgers Law School’s Minority Student Program (MSP) to its Mount Laurel office on July 17, 2026, for a breakfast and panel discussion focused on careers in private practice.
The Minority Student Program is a nationally recognized post-admission program that supports law students of any race or ethnicity who are members of groups underrepresented in the legal profession and who have experienced discrimination or overcome social or economic hardships.
The panel featured Capehart Scatchard attorneys Ana Bauersachs, Kenneth Chiarella, Jacob Davis, Alexandra Escobedo, and Jaclyn Terranova, along with summer law clerks Glory Delgado and Jamada Garner.
Panelists shared their personal career journeys, discussing their experiences in law school, judicial clerkships and private practice, while offering students practical insights into life at a law firm.
Also in attendance was Rhasheda Douglas, Assistant Dean of MSP. The event was organized by Capehart Scatchard’s Diversity & Inclusion Committee, led by Ms. Bauersachs, as part of the firm’s ongoing commitment to supporting diversity in the legal profession.
