Mr. Fannon was part of a panel discussion on “Treating Back Pain.”  In his presentation, Mr. Fannon spoke on the legal implications of a workers’ compensation case after medical treatment has concluded.

Mr. Fannon, a Marlton resident and co-chair of the firm’s Workers’ Compensation Department, has been with the firm for 36 years and concentrates his practice in the representation of employers, self-insured companies, third-party administrators, and insurance carriers in workers’ compensation defense.

Holmgren, Esq., and Andrea Schlafer, Esq. spoke on “Insurance Fraud” at a continuing legal education seminar sponsored by the South Jersey Claims Association.  Ms. Ramos and Mr. Holmgren focused their presentation on the Insurance Fraud Prevention Act (“IFPA”) as it pertains to liability matters and Ms. Northen and Ms. Schlafer addressed the issue of workers’ compensation fraud.

Certified by the Supreme Court of New Jersey as a Civil Trial Attorney, Ms. Ramos, a Mansfield resident, is an Executive Committee Member and Co-Chair of the  Litigation Department.  She is a seasoned litigator with over 25 years experience handling diverse matters and concentrates her practice in tort defense, business litigation,  insurance coverage,  estate litigation, employment litigation, and general litigation.

In addition to her responsibilities as Co-Chair of the Workers’ Compensation Department, Ms. Northen, a Pennsauken resident, focuses her practice in the representation of employers, self-insured companies, and insurance carriers.  Certified as a trial attorney by the Supreme Court of New Jersey in Workers’ Compensation Law, Ms. Northen is a member of the New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Burlington County and Camden County Bar Associations.

Mr. Holmgren, a Moorestown resident, handles defense litigation in the federal and state courts of New Jersey and Pennsylvania, with a concentration on premises liability, products liability, fraud, construction, estates, employment and professional malpractice.  His clients include individuals, insurance companies, large and small businesses, manufacturers and public entities.

Ms. Schlafer, a Cherry Hill resident, represents insurance carriers and employers in the defense of workers’ compensation claims at all stages of litigation.  Ms. Schlafer received her law degree from Rutgers School of Law in Camden and her B.S. degree in Business Administration and Finance from the College of Charleston, cum laude.  Upon law school graduation, Ms. Schlafer worked as a law clerk to the Honorable Kevin T. Smith, in the New Jersey Superior Court, Gloucester County Vicinage.

Dibble, Esq. has been invited to join the prestigious Claims and Litigation Management Alliance (CLM), a nonpartisan organization comprised of thousands of insurance companies, corporations, corporate counsel, litigation and risk managers, claims professionals and attorneys.

The CLM’s primary goals are to create a common interest in the representation by law firms of companies, and to promote and further through education and collaboration the highest standards of litigation management in pursuit of client defense. Ms. Rose, a lifelong resident of New Jersey, focuses her practice in the areas of commercial and business law, transportation, and franchise law.  She received her undergraduate degree magna cum laude from West Virginia University and her law degree from Rutgers University School of Law in Camden.  She is admitted to practice in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

Ms. Vander Wielen, a Burlington County resident, focuses her practice in general litigation throughout the federal and state courts of New Jersey and Pennsylvania with a concentration on insurance defense matters. She has successfully represented clients in all aspects of litigation in cases involving construction, products and premises liability, business and contract disputes, restrictive covenants, property subrogation and personal injury.  She has extensive experience representing both national and international businesses and corporations in commercial litigation matters involving contract, employment, proprietary information and business disputes.

Ms. Vander Wielen is currently the 2015-2017 Young Lawyer Trustee of the Burlington County Bar Association.  She was named a “Top Attorney” for Business by SJ Magazine in August 2014.

Higbee, Esq., Christina Adinolfi Shea, Esq., and Ted Yoa, Esq. were featured speakers at a Millennium seminar event held on July 16, 2015 at the Holiday Inn & National Conference Center in East Windsor, New Jersey.

In addition to moderating the one-day program, Mr. Geaney presented “How Employers Can Consistently Win in Workers Comp” and “Where Workers’ Comp and ADA/FMLA Come Together.”  Ms. Higbee presented “Hot Topics in Workers’ Comp and What the Statute Teaches Us” and also served as moderator for a presentation titled, “IMEs in Workers’ Comp.”   Ms. Adinolfi Shea was a panelist on “IMEs in Workers’ Comp,” and Mr. Yoa presented on “Recent Decisions You Need to Know.”

A seasoned workers’ compensation practitioner for over 30 years, Mr. Geaney, a Moorestown resident, is the author of Geaney’s New Jersey Workers’ Compensation Manual and A Guide to Employment Issues Under the ADA & FMLA distributed by the New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education.  Mr. Geaney concentrates his practice in the representation of employers in workers’ compensation defense matters, the Americans with Disabilities Act, and the Family and Medical Leave Act.

Mr. Geaney’s presentation was titled, “Legal Perspectives:  Workers’ Compensation, FMLA and Implications of Social Media.”  Mr. Geaney presented various case scenarios relating to recent opinions covering these issues.
