Capehart Scatchard Shareholder, Jennifer A. Cottell, Esq., presented at the 2026 North Jersey Workers’ Compensation Educational Seminar on October 30, 2026. The seminar, co-hosted by The Advanced Spine Center and Tri-County Orthopedics, was held at the Park Avenue Club in Florham Park, NJ.

Ms. Cottell also discussed occupational claims and proof of aggravation of pre-existing claims (objective worsening of anatomical findings). She concluded her presentation with a discussion of two successful trial results she had, a dismissal of a motion for medical and temporary disability benefits, and dismissal of an occupational claim potentially worth millions.

She earned her J.D. from Albany Law School of Union University and her B.S., cum laude, from Rutgers University. She is admitted to practice in New Jersey and the Supreme Court of the United States.
